Join us for a cosy evening of books, conversation, and community at the library. This unique event offers an opportunity to get to know fellow citizens, immerse in literature both alone and together and to share dinner and book recommendations with each other.
This event is open to adults of all backgrounds and reading interests. We encourage attendees to bring their curiosity, a book to read, and a healthy appetite for both food and conversation. Please note that the event is in English.
Event Highlights Include:
Shared Reading: We read a short text together. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to share how the words make them feel, as well their thoughts, ideas and memories. There is no pressure to talk or read aloud.
Dinner: Sit back and enjoy pizza and salad while you socialize with other locals.
Silent Reading: Bring your favorite book or choose one from our collection for a quiet, uninterrupted reading experience together.
Speed Book Talk: Discover new book titles in English when staff members give a short and speedy book talk. All participants are also invited to share a brief recommendation of a favorite book.
